The Lost Front Guides
Trench warfare tutorials for leveling, map control, classes, drones, captures, controls, passes, guns, and attachments.
Welcome to the Guides Hub for The Lost Front, the Roblox FPS from Type Productions. Released on June 17, 2025 and already past 83 million visits, the game drops you into Red versus Blue fights across trenches, ruins, and tall grass. Your job is simple to say and hard to do: capture checkpoints A, B, and C before the other team locks the map. This hub is the map of every how-to page on the wiki—use it when you need a clear next step instead of scrolling random Discord advice.
The Lost Front is still in active development. Expect balance patches, attachment rollouts, new guns, and class tweaks. Cheaters are permanently banned, so stick to fair play and keep this wiki bookmarked when something changes. If you are brand new, start with Getting Started before you grind hours on the wrong class path.

Core game loop in one paragraph
You spawn on Red or Blue, pick a class you have unlocked, buy or equip a weapon with credits, then push trenches toward one of three checkpoints. Standing on a contested point flips ownership after you clear defenders. Hold enough of the map and your team wins. Dying costs time, not progress—spawn closer when your team owns nearby points. Credits buy guns, explosives, and eventually attachment experiments; XP unlocks Medic, Marksman, Drone Operator, and later Machine Gunner. That loop is why capture discipline matters more than raw aim alone.
Beginner path
New players should treat the first few matches as practice, not ranked ego. Assault is the default class and is strong enough to learn map lanes, peek angles, and when to stop moving before you shoot. Read Getting Started for the unlock ladder: Medic at level 5, Marksman at level 10, Drone Operator at level 16, plus Machine Gunner once you meet its requirement (community reports often cite roughly levels 24–26—note the uncertainty). Pair that with Controls so WASD, aim, reload, sprint, crouch, mag loot, and cinematic mode are muscle memory before you blame the gun. When the unlock grind feels slow, switch to How to Level Up Fast for XP routing that favors kills, captures, Medic heals, and optional VIP.
Objective and map focus
The trenches and ruins layout rewards players who clear rooms before standing on the capture zone. Solo hero pushes die in crossfires. Stack with teammates, clear, plant feet on the point, then leave a guard while others rotate. Full tactics live on Capture Checkpoints. Terrain reading—trenches versus ruins versus tall grass, A/B/C flow, flank wraps, and spawn snowballs—lives on the Map & Battlefield Guide. Once you understand spawn flips, you will stop overextending into enemy-owned lanes.
Classes, Medic, and the drone meta
Assault anchors early games. Medic keeps pushes alive and adds heal XP near contested B—see the dedicated Medic Class Guide. Marksman punishes peeks across open ruin gaps. Machine Gunner locks down lanes with sustained fire once unlocked. Drone Operator changes fights entirely at Rank 16—practice FPV, learn flight inputs, then use attack runs with intent. The dedicated Drone Operator guide covers unlock grind, practice workflow, tactical dives, and how rifle players should counter you. Compare roles anytime on the Class Tier List.
Economy, passes, guns, and attachments
Credits fund AKM, AS-VAL, RPG options, and more. Free AKS-74 is already lethal if you control recoil and stop sprinting before shots. American Guns (399 Robux) adds M16A1 and M1911. VIP (599 Robux) bundles credits, +100% XP, and HDM. No Team Limit (199 Robux) helps full stacks queue together. Read Game Passes before spending, then use Weapons for prices and known damage numbers. When the attachments mega-update is in your build—dozens to 100+ parts, AKS-74U, GL-06, redesigns, controller drone support—open Attachments & New Weapons before you brick a loadout. Cross-check rankings on the Weapon Tier List and finished kits on Best Loadouts.
